Please read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order. By using this website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time — continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

2. Prices

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
We do not accept payment in any other currency.
We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price shown at the time you place it.

3. Placing an Order

By clicking "Confirm Order" you are making a legally binding offer to purchase the goods.
You will receive an order confirmation by email once your order has been placed.
The contract between us is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation.
All products and prices displayed on our website are invitations to treat, not binding offers.
If you do not receive an order confirmation or dispatch notification within 14 days, you are no longer bound by your purchase.

4. Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and PayPal.
All payments are processed over a secure encrypted connection. We do not store your card details.
Payment is taken at the time of order.
An invoice will be emailed to you when your order is dispatched.

5. Delivery

Delivery methods and timescales

Timescales are indicative only and run from close of business on the day of order (if placed before 1pm on a working day) or from close of business the following working day (if placed after 1pm or on a non-working day). We will make every effort to meet these timescales but do not guarantee them.

Delivery charges

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on your chosen delivery method, delivery address, and the size and weight of your order. A courier surcharge may apply for orders over 5kg to Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, and Republic of Ireland postcodes.

Tracking and receipt

Tracking information is provided for Express delivery orders. Where tracking applies, a signature will be required on delivery. If an initial delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our courier will make one further attempt before leaving a collection card.

6. Partial Deliveries

Where an item is temporarily out of stock, we may dispatch your order in part and send the remaining items as soon as they are available, at no additional delivery charge. We will contact you to confirm the status of your order.

7. Retention of Title

Goods remain the property of Lake Manufacturing Ltd until full payment has been received.

8. Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, please notify us in writing (by email or letter) within 14 days of delivery to:

Once you have notified us, you must return the goods within 14 days. Goods must be returned:

Unused and in ‘as new’ condition
In their original packaging with all accessories included
By recorded delivery at your own expense

If goods are not returned in a fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to deduct up to 30% of the original selling price from your refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

9. Damaged or Faulty Goods

Please inspect your goods on delivery. If items arrive damaged or faulty, please notify us as soon as possible and no later than 30 days of delivery by emailing info@heatkeeper.co.uk with details and photographs where possible. We will arrange a return and replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Product Warranty

All products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. If your product fails within the warranty period, please contact us at info@heatkeeper.co.uk and we will provide full return and replacement details.

11. Installation

Heatkeeper provides installation guidelines for reference only. Installation is the sole responsibility of the installer. Lake Manufacturing Ltd accepts no liability for errors arising from installation.

12. Limitation of Liability

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and information on this website are accurate. However, descriptions do not form part of the contract between us.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to the above, Lake Manufacturing Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or purchase of our products. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
