The price of our goods is set out on the website and on confirmation of the order, or negotiated between us after we have been contacted.
The price stated is in pounds sterling (Great Britain)
We do not accept any other currency.
We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.
Once you enter all of the personal contact information and click the “confirm order” button on the order confirmation page the order will be considered legally binding.
You will receive order confirmation after the order process has been completed.
The sales agreement is valid as soon as the delivery confirmation has been sent.
If you do not receive order confirmation or the delivery within two (2) weeks, you are legally no longer bound to your purchase.
All products, services and prices shown in our online shop do not constitute legally binding offers.
You may pay for your products by the methods of payment displayed on the payment section of the Heatkeeper website.
Lake Manufacturing Ltd obtain approval from the credit card company for the amount of the order.
Heatkeeper Store currently accepts, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and PayPal.
You must pay the price payable in British pounds sterling as indicated on your order confirmation.
We use PayPal to allow you to purchase merchandise online using any major credit card or bank checking, you do not have to be a PayPal customer to use this service. We want you to order with confidence and peace of mind knowing that your credit card number and details remain secure and private.
All payments will be made over a secure encrypted connection so credit card numbers and private details cannot be stolen in transit, this is as secure as online ordering can be.

Lake Manufacturing Ltd will email or post your invoice to you at the billing address indicated on your order confirmation when we ship your products to you.

Cheques or Money Orders
The Heatkeeper store accepts money orders, personal and company cheques as valid forms of payment. Retention of Title
The goods delivered remain the property of Lake Manufacturing Ltd until full payment has been received.
This delivery policy gives details of the delivery methods, delivery periods and delivery charges that apply to any orders for our products made through our website or by email or telephone.
This policy is not intended to and does not create legally enforceable rights and obligations. It merely indicates our usual practice in relation to the delivery of products.
(2) Delivery methods
We will deliver to worldwide countries and territories as stated on our website.
If the address for delivery of your order is a UK mainland address other than Highlands and Islands, then you will be able to select from the following delivery methods:
- standard delivery
- express delivery
- If the address for delivery of your order is not a UK mainland address, then you will be able to select from the following delivery methods:
- standard international delivery.

If you place your order before 1pm on a working day, these periods run from the close of business on that day. If you place your order after 1pm on a working day, or on a non-working day, these periods run from the close of business on the next following working day.
These periods are indicative only, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, we do not guarantee delivery before the end of the specified period.
If you purchase a high value product from us, we will usually conduct fraud screening checks before dispatching the product. These may delay the expected date for delivery. Where the delivery date is delayed as a result of fraud screening checks, we will notify you by email.] (5) Delivery charges

Tracking information will only be supplied for Express delivery items.
(7) Receipt and signature
If Tracking applies to a delivery, then the delivery must be received in person at the delivery address, and a signature must be provided.
(8) Additional deliveries and collection
If an initial delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our delivery service providers will make one further attempt to deliver your products.
If the second delivery attempt is unsuccessful, our delivery service providers will leave a card at your address, with instructions on how you may collect your product. Such instructions will include a time limit for collection.
(9) Delivery problems
If you experience any problems with a delivery, please contact us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org , by telephone on 0191 4151333 or through our website at www.heatkeeper.co.uk.
If our delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products, and such failure is your fault, and you do not collect your products from our delivery service provider within the time specified on the card left at your address, then we may agree to arrange for re-delivery of the products, providing that we reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery (even where the initial delivery was free-of-charge).
- An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your fault is set out below:
- you provided the wrong address for delivery;
- there is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided;
- the address for delivery is not reasonably accessible;
- the address for delivery cannot safely be accessed;
- where in person receipt is not required, there is no easy and secure means of leaving the products at the address for delivery and there is no person available to accept delivery; and
- where in person receipt is required, there is no person available at the address for delivery to accept delivery and provide a signature.

We have the right to make partial deliveries when some items are out of stock and will dispatch the out of stock items as soon as we have them with no extra charge for delivery. We will contact you to confirm the status of your order.
You may withdraw from the sale within 7 days without any justification, as long as you send your cancellation in writing (letter or e-mail)
If you cancel your order you must take care of the goods and return them to us complete, unused, in ‘as new’ condition, and must be returned with the original box, packaging and accessories. If we find that a product has not been returned to us in a fully re-saleable condition, or the packaging is damaged, then we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item or deduct up to 30% of the original selling price. This does not affect your statutory rights. Return the goods in the original packaging at your own expense by recorded delivery within 30 days of cancelling the order.
Whilst the goods are in your possession you will be liable for the cost of repairing any damage.
The time frame for the return of goods begins once you have received the goods.

Damage / Faulty goods on delivery
The Buyer shall inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and shall notify lake renewable energy by email: email@example.com, within 2 working days of delivery if the goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the contract. If the Buyer fails to do so the buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the goods. We will provide you with full return details. You must take care of the goods and return them to us in the original packaging.
All of our goods have a manufacturer’s supported warranty, should your product fail within the manufacturer’s warranty period you must notify us by either writing (letter or email)
Once you have contacted us we will provide you with full return details.
Lake Manufacturing Ltd is not responsible for any typographical errors, and is not responsible for or liable for errors in installations. Our company offer guidelines, installation are the responsibility of the installer / licensed technical installer.
Extent of Liability
We make every effort to ensure that the good advertised for sale on lake renewable energy website are described accurately.
The description of the goods on the website does not form part of the contract between the customer and lake renewable energy systems.
You the customer should ensure that the goods purchased from lake renewable energy system are suitable for the intended purpose.
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the above, Lake Manufacturing Ltd will use reasonable endeavors to verify the accuracy of any information on the site but makes no representation or warranty of any kind express or implied statutory or otherwise regarding the contents or availability of the site or that it will be timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the website. Lake Renewable Energy Systems will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website and Lake Renewable Energy systems accepts no liability of any kind for any loss or damage from action taken or taken in reliance on material or information contained on the site.
1. Lake Manufacturing Ltd will do its best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable and as possible after being notified of them.
2. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your contract cancellation rights.
Distance Selling Regulations
If you have ordered by telephone or internet, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund for any home delivery item (excluding those purchased direct from our store).
To cancel, you can Email our Customer Services, call 0191 4151333 or write to us at Customer Services within seven working days (not including Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays) commencing the day after the day of delivery of your item(s), quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the item(s).
Item(s) should be returned direct to us , a return form will be emailed to you , this should be completed fully and returned with the goods to the address on the form.
